School of Library and Information Management

Emporia State University is the oldest school of library and information studies in the western half of the United States.  Tradition and innovation form the foundation of a friendly and supportive learning environment with a reputation for graduating outstanding library leaders and information professionals. 


Founded in 1902, the School of Library and Information Management, better known as SLIM, serves a twelve-state area with weekend-intensive classes in Emporia, Overland Park (KS), Denver, Portland (OR), and Salt Lake City.
