835 - Assessing Information Needs and Seeking Behaviors
The focus of this class was on academic libraries and working within a specific disclipline. By interviewing a professor and observing her class, I was able to see the role that an academic library can play. Both the professor and the class require specific things from a library and the library must fulfill those needs. Academic libraries play a very important role in both the professor's own research and the research of all the students.
Historic Kearney Hub Brochure
This brochure was created to help our patrons use the Historic Kearney Hub Newspaper online. We recently were able to offer this new service to our patrons and we were trying to advertise its presense and give users helpful tips at the same time. I created this in my capacity as a reference desk clerk. It was very fulfilling to be able to create something that will help people understand a new resource.
