811 - Information Needs of Walmart Photo Lab Associates
This article was written before I had gained any library exerience. I decided to analyze a different kind of situation to gain knowledge of analysis, assessment, and evaluation techniques. Looking back on this assignment, it seems so out of place because it concerns Walmart and not a library. However, I learned a lot from this assignment and it taught me the skills that will be helpful in my future in libraries. Analysis, assessment, and evaluation are keys to recognizing gaps in service and collection. All libraries and information agencies need to evaluate themselves and their community regularly. Our goal is to provide the right information - we need to make sure that we are fulfilling that goal.

Library: Changes and Guide
This paper represents a more knowledgeable analysis, assessment, and evaluation experience. I understood more about libraries and their needs at this point. Customization is also brought to the forefront and its importance to patrons. No matter the type of library, designing useful ways for patrons to access information is key. We want patrons to be successful searchers and we must continually analyse, assess, evaulate and design the systems in place that make those searches possible.
